Look, I’ve definitely been falling behind on my reading this summer, but one thing I will ALWAYS read is the airline safety card. I’ve been on 25+ flights this year and I still don’t trust Boeing haha! The nearest exit may be behind me, and I want to know if it is!

I finally learned how to play Catan… Let’s just say I am obsessed. 🎲

Maria’s Playing: The Olympics!

I had the chance to go to the Olympics in Paris this summer and, of course, watch a ton of events on the TV! I watched Paris play Serbia in volleyball, and it was electric!

The Oregon Coast really is one of the best-kept secrets in the US. I love coming back home in the summer and walking the beach + watching the surfers. Nothing like it.

Emily’s Recommending: Touching Grass!

LOL I have been trying to go for a lot of walks this summer and spend some time outside while I still can.

I deleted TikTok and try to spend more time off of social media - but of course it’s easier said than done. 🤷

I live in a beautiful neighborhood and try to remind myself that it’s better to be outside and enjoying it.

Emily’s Treating: Bed sheets!

I recently upgraded all of our bedding 😃 It was time to outgrow the amazon sheets and comforter from college. Goodbye polyesters and hello natural fibers!!

We ditched our foam mattress topper (they retain a lot of heat) and old sheets for new ones that focused on cooling and breathability.

I got a down alternative duvet and a cooling mattress pad from The Company Store.

I also got cotton percale sheets and duvet cover from Quince. Cotton percale FTW if you’re a hot sleeper.

Absolute GAME CHANGER for my sleep, and SO worth the investment.

Maria’s Treating: Onitsuka Tiger Shoes

I’ve had my eye on a pair of green Onitsuka Tigers for a while, and I finally pulled the trigger this month.

I love shoes, but I don’t buy new pairs often, and I’m telling you all these are TOP in my rotation rn.

I know cute little flats + slingbacks are really what’s in right now, but I can’t break away from a sneaker.
